Before Pendragon Forms:

In order to count physical inventory, this large hardware retailer would close their doors for ten days.  Stock counts were recorded on hand written inventory cards and then manually transcribed into the AccPac inventory control system.  The process was costly; the company incurred additional payroll expenses for the inventory and lost sales.

Forms Development:

A local consultant, PalmPC Solutions, used Pendragon Forms to create inventory applications.  The inventory forms were deployed on a rugged palm device with an integrated bar code scanner which improves both speed and accuracy.  After synchronizing the handheld data to the desktop, the physical count data is imported into the inventory control system.

The hardware company achieved greater than 100% ROI within the first inventory.  Because they were able to complete inventory in three days instead of ten, they eliminated approximately $400,000 of labor costs and lost sales.
